Four Seasons

A year of careful co-production with vulnerable groups has resulted in four extraordinary new sculptures in the landscape at National Trust Croome. They were co-designed through community workshops and creative fieldtrips with looked after children, prisoners at HMP Hewell, women receiving wellbeing support and local volunteers. Over a year, the groups responded to Croome and the Four Seasons themes of belonging and environmental change. Local youth club members built on this work to co-design an accompanying exhibition, film and engagement programme to ensure the sculptures reach and inspire thousands of online and physical visitors throughout the seasons for the next decade and beyond.

The sculptures were installed at Croome in July 2025 and will be in place for 10 years, visibly claiming space for the importance of diverse perspectives in heritage settings. More details from the project can be seen on the National Trust Croome website.
